EFE Ejeba – and the Afrohiphop scene.

Efe Ejeba, known professionally as Efe, is a Nigerian singer and rapper who has quickly made a name for himself in the Afrohiphop genre. Born and raised in Delta State, Ejeba studied at the University of Jos before pursuing a career in music. He began his music career in 2012 and has since released a number of successful works, including the EPs; Lagos (2016), Am Sorry Am Winning (2018), NONSTOP (2020), Against All Odds (2021), and his latest release, STUBBORN BOY (2022). Efe’s music is inspired by his life experiences and the struggles he has faced growing up in Nigeria. His lyrics are honest and heartfelt, and his smooth, soulful voice has earned him a dedicated following of fans. Some of his notable singles include “Based on Logistics” (2017), “Somebody” (2017), “Mercy” (2017), “I Love You” (2017), “6 Packs” (2019), “Faraway” (2019), “Scammer” (2019), “Your Body” (2020), and his latest single, “NO GO DO AGAIN” (2022). Ejeba has been recognized for his talent, winning the award for Best Rapper at the 2013 Jos Bring It On Talent Show, and the Artist of the Year award at the 2020 Maryland Awards. In addition to his music career, Ejeba is also an active philanthropist and advocate for social justice. Lasko Blark

Seldom do you find an artist specialise in a myriad of genres of music such as Rap, Trap, Drill, Dancehall and Afropop with a fusion of rap in it. Lasko Blark has it all. Lasko Blark was born Falana Fawaz in the ancient city of Ibadan, Oyó State in 1999. The dormant fire that would later spark into his interest in music started burning at an early age but that fire didn’t consume him until he was in 200 level in OAU, which was when he officially started making music. Prior to then, he had been garnering experience and tuning up his skills through online tutorials and on-site learnings. “My sound consists of powerful vocal and dynamic wordplay, with sweet melodies carrying a unique twist to the Afro-Rap music scene alongside a psychedelic experience” Lasko Blark tells us when asked to describe his sound. Lasko Blark first released his Windy Citi EP in August 2021 and has since then released some tracks including KOMPETITION in May 2021 and his latest work is titled Back Then, released August 2022.
