Plumptre Damilare, better known by his stage name, Plumptre, is a versatile artist from Bariga, Lagos. He began his music journey in 2019 but officially kicked off his career in 2021. Plumptre studied music production at DelB’s place, where he gained valuable experience that would later launch his career forward. Plumptre’s music is heavily influenced by his personal experiences and environment. He draws inspiration from his surroundings, real-life experiences, and the thousands of songs he has listened to over the years. He also claims to be a firm believer in pushing oneself out of their comfort zone, as reflected in his favorite quote: “Don’t get too comfortable.” As a multi-genre artist, Plumptre’s sound cannot be categorized into one particular genre. He has released several works, including “Check and Balance” (2021), “Dance” by Baila curry ft. Plumptre (2021), “Love Portion” by Yin the Hermit ft. Plumptre (2022).His latest single, “Nobody” (2023) was released on 2nd of March, 2023. Additionally, he has several freestyles available on YouTube.
