
Babcock University has dismissed reports accusing its former pastor and Associate Vice President for Spiritual Life, Afolarin Ojewole, of sexual misconduct. The institution described the claims as false, baseless, and an attempt at blackmail.
Earlier, an online platform had alleged that the school was favoring Ojewole for the Vice Chancellor position despite past sanctions.
The Current Vice Chancellor, Prof. Ademola Tayo, is set to complete his 10-year tenure in November and his successor will be announced by December 1, 2025, after a rigorous screening process involving about seven professors.
